Fundraising is simple when every step is clear.

Donate prepares and reviews the campaign

Authorized Donate staff document the beneficiary, goal, intended use of funds, story, and campaign media. An administrator reviews the campaign before publication.

Supporters choose a campaign

Each approved fundraiser has one public page that can be shared with friends, family, neighbours, teams, and communities that care about the cause.

Donate collects confirmed contributions

Payments are collected into Donate’s payment account and allocated in our records to the selected campaign only after the provider confirms the transaction.

What happens when you contribute

A donation only changes the total after payment is confirmed.

The payment flow is designed so a pending request is not presented as money already received.

You choose an amount

Open a fundraiser, enter the contribution amount, and provide the mobile-money number used for payment.

The payment request is sent

The payment provider initiates the mobile-money request and reports the payment status back to Donate.

Confirmation updates the fundraiser

Only completed payments are included in the amount raised and shown in the supporter activity.

Donate staff follow progress

Assigned staff can track support from the internal dashboard and publish campaign updates for people following the fundraiser.
