Prohibited fundraising
Donate should not be used for fundraising that is unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or designed to mislead supporters.
Misrepresentation and impersonation
Do not pretend to be another person or organization, fabricate a beneficiary, or materially misrepresent how funds will be used.
Illegal or harmful activity
Fundraisers must not solicit money for illegal activity, violence, exploitation, fraud, or goods and services that cannot lawfully be funded.
Abuse of payment systems
Do not use Donate to disguise unrelated transactions, launder funds, test stolen payment credentials, or manipulate payment-provider systems.
Moderation action
Donate administrators may place a campaign under review or suspend it while reports or policy concerns are investigated.
