Donate separates a payment request from a completed contribution so fundraiser totals reflect confirmed support.
Payment confirmation
A donation is included in the amount raised only after the payment provider reports it as completed. Pending and failed requests are not counted toward the fundraiser total.
Fundraiser context
Campaign pages identify Donate as the fundraising organization and show beneficiary information when provided, the fundraising goal, story, supporter activity, and campaign updates.
Before you contribute
Read the fundraiser story and updates carefully, confirm that the campaign matches the person or cause you intend to support, and only approve a payment request you recognize.
