The story
About this fundraiser
Three years on, the humanitarian situation in Gaza remains catastrophic. More than 73,000 people have died and 90% of the population is displaced. People need life-saving aid and a chance to heal and rebuild.
International attention may have shifted, but for thousands in Gaza, each day is a fight for survival. As winter approaches, families are living in tents that won’t protect them from heavy rain and freezing temperatures.
Since 2023 in Gaza:
More than 73,000 people have tragically died.
Over 175,500 have been injured.
More than 1.4 million people face extreme hunger.
Only 18 out of 36 hospitals in Gaza are functioning, with limited capacity.
90% of Gaza’s 2.1 million population has been displaced.
Despite the risk to their lives and a lack of food, the Palestine Red Crescent Society and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) are working tirelessly with the resources they have, day in and day out to help the people of Gaza. But they can’t do it alone. Now is the time to act. Your donation could help get food, medicine and other essentials to families in desperate need.
